As a cool-climate grape, Riesling can be grown in many areas of the world, even those where the climate is not conducive to growing other varietals. This page is for those corners of the world that are not yet considered an official Riesling region, but where some very good Riesling is produced.
The lesson here is, don’t overlook a Riesling just because it’s not from a well-known growing area. You might just be discovering the beginning of a whole new Riesling region!
