Riesling Taste Profile

The International Riesling Foundation’s Riesling Taste Profile is now featured on more than 26,000,000 bottles in the U.S. market, and growing. To help consumers predict the taste in a particular bottle of Riesling, the IRF created the Riesling Taste Profile which Riesling producers may use on their back labels, merchandising materials, and elsewhere. The winery determines where the arrow should go based on a set of technical guidelines combined with their own judgment from tasting. In addition, the proposed text, “This Riesling is” at the top of the art work may be eliminated at the winery’s discretion. The art work is an EPS vector image which can be opened in Adobe illustrator or similar vector application; or in Adobe Photoshop as a 300 PPI file.
