Paul Cluver Wines

The colour of the 2008 Paul Cluver Riesling shows a beautiful green apple tint. The nose is quite expressive with flavours ranging from Granny Smith apple to lime, citrus peel and lovely floral tones. The palate is perfectly balanced with great play between the naturally retained residual sugar and the acidity. The wine has a great textured mid palate with loads of fruit and a mineral core giving the wine structure and a lingering after taste.

A sensorial delight – the 2008 vintage combines aromatics and elegance – the hallmarks of Paul Cluver Wines. The bright, golden hue immediately prompts an expectation of lusciousness that is satisfied both on the nose and the palate. The interplay between aspects of apricot freshness and concentrated honeyed sweetness is highly appealing. The complexity is enhanced by hints of cinnamon, lanolin, mango and raisins. The clean finish is pleasantly refreshing, making it very easy to have some more!
